Robert Cawley Obituary

CAWLEY, ROBERT V., 73, of What Cheer Road, Narragansett, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at home. He was the husband of Leonor S. (Salvador) Cawley. They were married for 29 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vincent and Anna (Keegan) Cawley. Mr. Cawley was employed by the State of Rhode Island as a Pharmacy Aide for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1993. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, Class of 1953. Mr. Cawley enjoyed sports and was an avid New York Giants fan.

Besides his wife he is survived by his five step-children, Richard A. Brillon of York, ME, Anne M. Patenaude of Coventry, Jeanne M. Coughlin of Pawtucket, Carol A. Guglielmo of Richmond and Eileen L. Garcia of Warwick. Mr. Cawley was the step-grandfather of nine and the step-great-grandfather of three. He was the brother of Ann Cawley Grzebien of Narragansett. Mr. Cawley was the uncle of Mary Kate Grzebien, Thomas, William and John Grzebien.

Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, (Rt.1A) 1111 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Veronica's Chapel, Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, South Office, 143 Main Street, Wakefield, RI 02879-3511.
