I came to Kings Hardware with my brother-in-law Rui Cordeiro to get some help last year. Mr. Cocozza was holding court at lunch time with 4 friends in the front of the store. This was a happy crowd of men solving all the world's problems! Thankfully I met, and got to know, Jimmy and Tommy, and Rui's friend Stevie.
I'm sorry to hear of his passing, and I know he'll be missed. He was so generous with his time and friendly to this stranger.

To Tommy and your family - I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I visited the store as much as I could just to shoot the breeze with Bob. Always a gentleman and always and a friend. I learned of his passing earlier today. Having not checked the paper I never learned about his leaving. My apologies for not being able to visit with you and the family at Quinn's Home. My condolences are expressed to you and the family. A very difficult loss for me and so many. God rest him

Saddened to hear of your loss. My father, Edward LaCombe, knew your father for years. I can remember going into Kings Hardware as a child and your father could always find what he was looking for in, what looked to me, to be utter chaos. May your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time.

My Father, Edo Korkuc, was a Nu-Brite Paint Salesman and called on Bob and King's Hardware for many years. He was very good friends with Bob and I feel like I knew Bob well from the many funny stories that my Dad would relate about the many visits to King's Hardware.

So sorry to hear of his passing.
