Robert Miller Obituary
Robert "Bob" K. Miller, Jr., age 81, of North Venice, FL, passed away on September 8, 2018. He was born to Robert and Helen (nee Ashworth) Miller on July 31, 1937 in Providence, RI, and came to the Venice area 15 years ago. Bob proudly served in the US Marine Corps. Bob will be remembered as a very happy and helpful person. He was a friend to all, but he loved his family first and foremost. He was an avid sports fan, cheering for his beloved Boston Bruins, Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Surviving family members include his wife of 60 years, Patricia; son Robert K. Miller III and wife Cathy of Darien, CT; son Dr. Brian Miller of Cranston, RI; daughter Colleen P. Miller of Venice, FL; grandchildren Lauren, Douglas, Christian, Craig Katherine, Kaitlyn, Brian Jr., and Taylor; great grandchild Analeiah; and brothers Charles, Daniel, and Kevin. He was preceded in death by his brother, James.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice on Tuesday, September 11th at 10 am.
Memorial donations should be directed to the Sisters of Divine Providence, Melbourne, Kentucky or your local Veteran's Administration.
