I caddied for Dr. Tarro at Quidnessett, in the 1970s. He was a class act all right - taught me a lot. I was thinking of those days and just saw his passing -- so very sorry. I knew him from a distance, but his humanity and joy of living stayed near all these years.

Please accept our condolences, Dr Tarro cared for my wife. He was a good man, who earned our trust. Though we have moved from New England. She still thinks of him as the perfect Doctor. Few men have earned my respect, Dr. Tarro is one of those few...

Dr. Tarro and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I will always remember how your dad was the doctor who treated me in the early '70s when I swallowed a quarter. He was so great with my nervous parents and a very scared 5-year old. It seemed only fitting years later that his son would become my ENT and, following in his father's footsteps, truly one of the best doctors in RI. I hope that in the coming days memories of times spent with your dad will comfort all of you. My deepest condolences to you and all of the Tarro family.

My favorite doctor. The only Dr. To ever come to the waiting room and personally address the reason for the wait (emergency). I was his patient for about 30 years and I felt like I was his only patient, because that's how he made me feel. Great man. I'm sure he will be missed by thousands.

To the Tarro Family:
I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful, sufficient, ear doctor.
He was that to me.
I had Dr. Tarro as my ear doctor some years ago, when he was practicing on School Street in Pawtucket, RI.
When I was a young child, I had a hearing test at school, and
it was reported that I had a hearing loss in my left ear.
I know the Tarro family, so I went to Dr. Tarro for help.
After examining me, He discovered that I had a top of an A-1 Oil can in my ear, and he successfully removed it.
I then remembered, as a young child, I was in my father's garage, and I wasn't suppose to be there. I heard my mother, Polly Terino, come downstairs, so I put the top I had in my hand in my ear, so she wouldn't know I had touched it.
May the Lord encourage and strengthen you in this time of need in all of you.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. I always knew that if you weren't available, that my kids (especially Tyler) were in good hands with your Dad.
