Robert Wodogaza Obituary
80, of Franklin MA, passed away August 25, 2021, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was the son of the late Nicholas F. and Angela (Dela-Ratta) Wodogaza.
Bob was born June 21, 1941, in Warren, Ohio. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1961-1965. Bob attended Youngstown State University and went on to have an accomplished 32-year career in retail. Starting his retail career as a Buyer at Strouss Department Store in Ohio, Bob later moved his family to Rhode Island in 1983 while progressing his career to Divisional Vice President of Filene's in Boston. After retirement, Bob went on to successfully manage malls for the New England Development Company and the Simon Property Group.
Bob was a family man, a tremendous husband and father, and enjoyed his passion for travel around the world with family and friends. He was an avid boater, Corvette enthusiast, and was an active member of the Eastern Massachusetts Corvette Club.
Bob leaves behind his devoted wife Debra A. (Hasekian) Wodogaza, a son Robert A. Wodogaza Jr. and companion Lynn Menard, his late son Michael R. Wodogaza, and granddaughters Samantha and Olivia Wodogaza.
He was the husband of the late Phyllis E. (Weeks) Wodogaza and brother of the late Nicholas J. Wodogaza.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 5pm-7pm on September 7th at the R J Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St, Wrentham MA 02093.
