Russell Couturier Obituary

COUTURIER, RUSSELL L. 'RUSTY', of Sutton Avenue and formerly of Norton, MA, died suddenly Saturday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital Attleboro.

Born in Attleboro he was the son of Lenora P. (Boulay) Couturier Field of North Attleboro and the late Russell Couturier, and stepson of the late Harold Field. Rusty was the Manager of the Bowling Academy of East Providence. He was a Sports enthusiast following all Sports all day as well as an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan. Russell was a very giving person and will go on giving in death as an Organ Donor.

Surviving, besides his Mother, are his sisters: Lenora and husband Ronald Gauvin of Cranston, Loretta and husband Al Boss of Attleboro, MA, Betty and husband Randy Vanorden of Washington, NJ, Sandra St. Laurent and Janice Stevens both of Cumberland, and his brother Richand Field; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held Thursday at 8:00 a.m. from the CHEETHAM MORTUARY, 1012 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. in St. Leo the Great Church, 697 Central Ave. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro, MA. www.cheethammortuary.com

I was so saddened to hear of Rusty's untimely death. He was such a nice guy! He always had a smile on his face. Tuesday nights will never be the same. May you rest in peace.

The bowling alley will not be the same without you Rusty. RJ & Cameron always loved challenging you on the lanes and joking around with you. To Rusty's family, we are so sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you all. Rusty was a wonderful, wonderful man who was so great with the kids at the Bowling Academy - we will all miss him very much.

Rusty, Tuesday nights will never be the same. We were very sad to hear the news. To the family of Rusty we just want to let you know you are all in our prayers. And that Rusty was one of the nicest people we have met. We don't think there was anyone who did not like him. He will truley be missed.
