Ruth Crandall Obituary

CRANDALL, RUTH E., 99, of Prospect Road, Wakefield, died Thursday. She was the wife of the late Howard Crandall.

Born in North Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Frank H. and Bertha (Ballou) Bliss.

Mrs. Crandall was Past President of the Matunuck P.T.A. and a member of Nestell Chapter, O.E.S. She enjoyed knitting.

Surviving are two sons, Bliss F. Crandall of Matunuck and Les Crandall of Westerly, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter and her sister Katherine Chace.

Friends and relatives are invited to a short visitation time at 11AM Tuesday in the Red Wood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, immediately followed by a funeral service and interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Watch Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center, Resident Council Fund, 79 Watch Hill Road, Westerly, RI 02891. averystortifuneralhome.com for guest book and directions.
