Linda,
I am so sorry to hear of your Father's passing. You should take comfort in knowing that you and your family did everything that you could have done for him. Just remember the quality time together and it will be a great rememberance and comfort for all of you in the days ahead. You will find strength in your faith, family and friends and have cherished memories forever in your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

To the Della Grotta family,
I am so sorry that I missed the service for Sal this past week, please accept my deepest sympathy. I remember Sal, and of course your family from the old neighborhood and it was my personal pleasure the see him most every morning at DD. We would talk about the old days on “The Hill”, my family, your family, Holy Ghost and anything else. Sal, of course would ask how my family was doing and I would ask about his as well. The reason I mention this is to tell you that he was so proud of his family. Whenever he spoke of any of you his eyes would sparkle. He loved to talk about all of you with pride especially his grandchildren. Sal was taken from you quickly and I am sure he will be missed by all but please know that that he was a friend to many and we will pray for him always.
May God give you strength daily.

Dear Connie, I am so sorry to hear of Sal's passing. I'll always remember the smile upon his face whenever we saw each other at any of my sister's Nancy's gatherings. Take care of yourself. Love, Lois D'Ambra

So sad to see Sal had passed away. Such a special man and special "Dunkin Donuts" friend. I always enjoyed chatting with him every morning. Unfortunately I moved out of the neighborhood a couple of years ago and we lost touch. I send my deepest sympathies to the DellaGrotta family.
