Sorry to hear of his passing. Sammy Kinder was part of a group of friends when I was growing up and he was always so nice. His Aunt Nan was my Godmother and his Aunt Hattie and his grandmother were people I knew well and used to visit frequently. Sammy was one of a kind. Rest in peace Sammy.

Sam hired me to work with his tree and landscaping company for a number of summer seasons. This time enriched my life and he was gracious in manner.

My condolences to the entire Kinder family. As a URI club rower from 97-01 Sam’s dedication to the program helped me in my foundational years and not a day goes by with URI rowing being a part of who I am.
God bless.
