Stephen Messier Obituary

MESSIER, STEPHEN A., age 50, went to be with his Lord & Savior unexpectedly on Thursday, March 24, 2005 after a courageous fight with numerous illnesses.

He was born September 8, 1954 in West Warwick, Rhode Island to Romeo & Evelyn (Horta) Messier Jr. He was a loyal Notre Dame Fan.

On September 28, 1991 he married Brenda Deuling and she survives him along with his mother, Evelyn Messier of West Warwick, RI, one sister, Deborah (Raymond) Taylor of West Warwick, RI, his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Benard & Evelyn Deuling of Fremont, Michigan, sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Linda Burcham, Gary (friend Jaime) Deuling, Karen (Randy) O'Neal, several nieces & nephews, & his special buddy, Riley Dias of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father and by his sister-in-law, Beverly Deuling.

The Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home in Fremont, Michigan with Rev. Ken Vis officiating. Interment will be in Sherman Twp. Cemetery, Newaygo County, Michigan. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, and from 12-1 p.m. on Monday. Suggested Memorial: Trinity Christian Reformed Church of Fremont Memorial Fund.
