I met Ted at BIF in 1980 and he was the nicest person always had a smile. He took me under his wing and taught me the wedding photography business, met so many nice people, he then helped me to start my own business which i did for many years, I will always be grateful for Ted and what he taught me. He will be sadly missed! RIP TP

Dear memebers of Ted's Family,
My sincere condolences to the entire Pickering Family. Ted actually took the photo's of my parents wedding in 1950 ( Gene and Jeanne(Harrison)Petit and I believe Ted also did my Mothers' 4 sisters weddings. I played in a wedding band and I would run into Ted quite often and Ted gave me two color slides he had of my parents wedding. They are the only color photos avalilable as black and white was the photogrophy of 1950. Ted was a kind gentleman who never forgot anyone. I iwll always remember him.
Sincerley,
Paul M. Petit

To the Pickering Family: So very sorry to hear of Ted's passing. He was always the gentleman, quick witted and kind. I worked with Ted many years ago at BIF - I was the receptionist at the new facility in EG. Later Ted gave my younger sister Barbara the opportunity to work with him on wedding photography, encouraging her and assisting her when she ventured on her own. He was such a nice guy, I am sure your family has many proud memories of him. My deepest condolescences. Sincerely, Pat Palmisciano Carter

My husband worked with Ted at BIF. Ted was the photographer at our wedding and every family wedding after that. Money was tight then and we used Ted's car as our limousine. He was a sweet man and we are glad to have known him.

We are so sorry to hear of Ted's passing. He was always so special to the Sayer and McCall families. George and I remember the good times we had with him when he was taking pictures of our family, and the niced times George and he shared while working at BIF. Ted was instrumental in getting our son, Richard interested in photography and encouraged him to attend photography school. Our sincerest sympathy to all Ted's family.
