Dear Bill and Stephen, Your mom´s beautiful photo and memory crossed my mail this morning. Cannot believe it´s already been three years. As a special neighbor, she taught me how to sew. She was such a talented woman. I know you are very proud of her. May she continue to Rest In Peace in heaven with your Dad, family and friends. Take care.
Love, Anna

My letter to Virginia: How did it happen. Didn't God know you had so much to offer here on earth. Oh-- I know he knew your Bill was getting impatient and needed you. Also your Mom and Dad. It was time my dear Virginia for you to leave. You suffered enough over the past year. I will miss you terribly. Driving by your house is painful for me. Still hard to believe you have left.
Who am I ever going to find to talk to like we did. Having to put up our hand and say "My turn". With you I could express my deepest feelings, tell secrets to, ask for advice and when it was your turn to talk you would do the same. Who needed a therapist--we had each other.

You always spoke so lovingly about your husband Bill who passed on far too young. He was such a wonderful match for you. He was funny, caring and kind and you both enjoyed life to the fullest. Raising two wonderful sons, Stephen and Billy, you having a successful career in banking and you both took many trips throughout the world.
You and I took many fun trips to Moheghan, enjoyed quiet dinners, talked a lot on the phone and had visits often.
Second Bill came into your life 23 years ago and I have to say I would get a little annoyed when he took up so much of your time. All good though, he treated you fine. He took you to Europe, Arruba for your birthdays, Moheghan, Foxwoods, dinners and in the summer weekly trips to the Newport Music Festivals. All ended when you became ill. With all of this you still had time for family, your painting, and friends. You truly were remarkable my dear. You lived a full, great rewarding life. No regrets only great memories. Thank you for enriching my life Virginia. I'll always be your friend. That's what friends are for. Rest in peace my dear.
Much love Shirley
P.S. Thanks for showing me how to roll those delicious calzones!

This is my Sister, Friend, Confidant......my mountain! Whenever life obstacles consumed me, I would go to Ginny; she always in some way would ease the pain, incessantly consoling me and helping me with a resolution. To me, she was always a strong woman and invincible. Beautiful, highly intelligent, enormously talented, very caring and protective of her 2 younger sisters. Part of me has gone with her; I will miss her immensely, and she will be in my heart forever! Rest peacefully, SIS; I will love you FOREVER!

So sorry to read of Virgina's death. We played together as children in Providence on Hampton Street. My house was on one end of the street and she was on the last house across the street from us. Lost touch with her until she started to work for Old Stone Bank. I will remember her in my prayers, as well as her family.
