William Johnstone Obituary

JOHNSTONE, WILLIAM J., 55, of Earl St., passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Kent Hospital. He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (St. Germaine) Johnstone.

Born in Newport, he was the son of the late James & Doris (Baker) Johnstone.

William was a Burner-Grinder at Electric Boat for 18 yrs. He was also employed for several years at RI Novelty Co.

He was the father of Jason M. Johnstone of West Warwick, and the brother of Jean Johnstone of Coventry, James Johnstone of Westfield, MA, and the late Doris Broz.

A Memorial Service will be Tuesday at 7 PM in the Robert A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., (Rte.117), Coventry. Visiting hours 5 - 7 pm prior to Service.

Bill was a wonderful man, me shane and aiden met him a while back at Annettes house on Wednesdays, me and shane played pool against him he was great pool player always a happy man..i dont think there ever was a bad thing about him, he would listen to anything you would have to say, never once left without a goodbye. we all miss you bill
