November 24, 1927 - June 8, 2017
Chambersburg
Wayne H. Kell passed away June 8, 2017, in NMS Healthcare, Hyattsville, MD. He was born November 24, 1927, in Shady Grove, the son of John A. Kell and Elta R. Hollinger. He lived many years at Menno Haven and Penn Hall.
He attended Greencastle High School, and was a veteran of WWII. He retired as Automotive Manager at Sears, Chambersburg. He was a member of The Waynesboro Church of The Brethren, NRA, VFW, ELKs, and life-time member of The American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and four brothers. He is survived by one sister, Priscilla Horst (James Horst); six nieces, Faye Stouffer, Doris Addlesberger, Carla Newton, Mary Tyler, Pamela Stodghill, and Kimberly Cline; four nephews, Tim Kell, Wayne L. Kell, Kim Kell and Tommy King
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at 1 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, where Pastor John Weber will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed on his Book of Memories page at

Now I know why you always told me to be strong because you knew, you knew that one day I would need the strength to bear your loss . You will live on forever in my heart.
