Ronald Pearce Obituary

Ronald N. Pearce, 72, of Rossiter, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023.
He was born Oct. 29, 1950, to Norman and Nellie (Gray) Pearce in Punxsutawney.
Ron attended the Steffey Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. He retired as a draftsman for Fike Associates in Clarion. Ron enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and loved spending time at his camp with his family.
He is survived by three sisters, Donna Best, Florida, Linda States and husband Dennis, Hughesville, and Sharon Neal, Punxsutawney, and his nieces and nephews, Gary McCullough and wife Brenda, Troutville, Barbara Pearson and husband Kelly, Florida, and Randy McCullough and wife Francine, Bellefonte, Shelly Scott, Hughesville, Bradley States and wife Jenifer, IL, Terry Neal and wife Stefanie, Rossiter, Jeffrey Neal, and Eric Neal, both of Punxsutawney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Scott McCullough.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767. Friends will also be received on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Devers Cemetery, Rossiter.
