Sandra T. Stamler

1942 - 2025

Sandra T. Stamler, 83, of Rossiter, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born Jan. 17, 1942, to Ricco and Letizia (Piantanida) Bonicalzi in Punxsutawney.
Sandy was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Rossiter and Rossiter American Legion. She was a graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School in 1959. Sandra was a waitress at the Punxsy Hotel for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles, caring for her plants and flowers, going out to eat, and watching game shows and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Most of all, Sandy loved visiting with her friends and family.
She is survived by two children, a son, Christopher G. "Chris" Stamler, and a daughter, Jennifer R. Stamler, both of Punxsutawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James D. Stamler, in October 2017; two brothers, Louie and Mitch Bonicalzi; two sisters, Rose Bonicalzi and Gloria McIntyre; and an infant sister.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2 until the time of the Prayer Service at 6 p.m. at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
