It's been 10 years since Jan's passing. We are saddened by his absence and miss his jovial personality. Unfortunately, we have lost touch with his children, but hope all is well with them and their families.

I am so saddened by the news of Jan's passing. My deepest condolences to all his family, specially his sons. I loved him dearly from day one. He is a kind loving soul, he will forever live in my heart. Last chat I had with him we were planning a dinner when he felt better, it never happened. Someday we will still have that dinner beyond the sunset Jan. I will sorely miss you my friend. In Love and Light forever, your friend.

Jan was my office mate at Hughes for a period and Jan & Janice were our best friends. Jan was such a happy person and all looked up to him. It was such a tragedy when Janice died leaving Jan to raise the two boys. He struggled with the task, but has done an admirable job and I'm sure Janice would have approved. Now, sadly Jan leaves us too. We will miss his jovial personality. Our condolences to the boys who must now carry on alone.

It was always a pleasure working and running down to the beach with Jan. A smile and kind words were synonymous to Jan's demeanor. He was also very intelligent and chose his words carefully. People listened when he spoke. We worked on many satellite systems and it was always a pleasure. I and many others will miss him. Rest in peace.

We only had the pleasure of meeting Jan once but it was a great visit. He came here to Florida to visit our dear friend Heidi. We enjoyed drinks outside in the yard and dinner. We shared stories and compared life's journeys. My husband, also being an engineer, travels, being of Eastern European heritage, fine wines... We all had so much in common. We will miss you Jan! We send our sympathy to family and friends.

Jan was one of my closest friends both at work and socially. When his wife Janice was dying from cancer, we were running during lunch time at Hughes Aircraft. Jan emphasized to me then, regularly since then, and as recently as a few weeks ago, that his main goal in life was to be the best father he could be. Well Jan and Janice, you are together again and I know how proud of your two sons you must be looking down from above.

I am so sorry to hear of Jan's passing. We were together for about ten years, and he was a person who lit up any room he entered. He had a merry soul, and I'm sure he will be missed by all of his friends and family.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Jan's passing. I worked for Jan at Hughes Space & Communications Group in the early 1990's. He was certainly one of the very best managers I ever worked for. We later became good friends. He will be sorely missed.
