Fred, you were a great mentor to myself and Donnie growing up in the Vegas Valley, and I will always remember your guidance with the sports that you managed us to be the best we could be on and off the field. Rest in peace! Stevie Darnold.

My deepest condoIences to Fred's family. He was good person and a great guy. I met Fred in high school. Worked at the Golden Nugget with him and played many rounds of golf with Fred, Ray Demman, and Duke Gavin.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Freddie Walker.
I worked with Fred for around 38 years at the
Tropicana.
He was working in the cage alongside Mitt Ellingston when I started there in the Craps Pit in 1972.
He retired a little before I did, and we used to talk frequently about the good old days and lament that we were the last two left from those times.
He was a great guy from when it was the real Las Vegas.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Rest in peace my friend.
