Carl E. Anderson

July 18, 1949 - July 14, 2025

Carl E. Anderson, 76, of Cherry Valley, Ark., formerly of Silvis, Ill., passed away Monday, July 14, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wanting to attend the service are asked to meet at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, by 9:30 a.m., to process to the cemetery. A gathering for friends and family will immediately follow the graveside service at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, St. Francis Hall.

Carl was born on July 18, 1949, to Jennings and Vera Anderson Sr. Carl was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired as a bowling mechanic from Highland Park Bowl, Moline.

Carl is survived by his brother, Jim (Rita) Anderson, Moline; niece, Lisa (Tyson) Fulton and their sons, Lucas and Tanner Fulton; and nephew, James H. Anderson II. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jennings "Rick" R. Anderson Jr.
