SILVIS-Donna M. Sharp, 53, of Silvis, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday July 7, 2023, at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. The burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
Donna was born on April 1, 1970, in Silvis, the daughter of Alfred "Al" O. and Juanita M. (Nelson) Sharp. She loved all dogs, especially Mindy and Sadie. She also had a love of horses which began after riding at New Kingdom Trailriders.
Donna was a real people person. She attended Good Sheep Sunday School at Christ United Methodist Church. Donna was an Easterseals child of the year when she was young. Donna enjoyed working at Arc Industries, crafting and being with her family, who she loved very much.
Survivors include mother, Juanita Sharp, Silvis, IL; brother, Michael (Laura) Sharp, Rome, NY; sister, Christine (Jerry) McNulty, O'Fallon, IL; nieces and nephews, Jillian (Austin) Hayden, Belleville, IL; Martin (Mary) Sharp, Rome, NY; Erik (Kendra) Allen, Albany, OR; Christina Sharp, Schenectady, NY; Kaylee Sharp, Schenectady, NY; Timothy McNulty, Kokomo, IN; great nieces and nephews, Alexa Hayden, Isaac Hayden, Matthew Sharp, Emma Allen, Aiden Allen.
She was preceded in death by her father.

My sincere condolences to the family of Donna. I worked with Donna for many years before I retired from ARC. She was a joy to work with...kind and sweet. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and I hope your many memories of her fill your hearts with happiness and love.

I was fortunate to be with Donna at her group home. Very sweet young lady. She enjoyed playing UNO cards bingo and crafts. She loved going on outings especially horse riding bowling are 3 day vacations especially the Dells movies eating out and going to dances. She along with her peers and her parents brought alot of joy to my life. Prayers and hugs to the family.
