Everett L. Smith, formerly of East Moline, was born March 12, 1940 in Decatur, IL, son of John L. and Dorothy F. (Hammel) Smith.
He is survived by one sister, Jane (Richard) Shofner; one brother, Ron (Mary) Smith; 14 nieces and nephews; and his lifelong friend, Jim (Mary Beth) Knox.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, John L. Smith Jr., Larry Gant, Jerry Gant, David Gant, and John R. Smith.
Funeral services will be at Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home in Decatur, IL on July 2, 2022 at 11 am with burial in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL.
