I worked alongside Dr. Miller in the burn unit at Franciscan from 1975-1987. He was a great leader of our team! He was so caring for our patients! Jeri and us all would go to the discos to decompress from the high stress of caring for the critically injured patients. Doc, as we called him, went too, to share in the gathering of our team. I have the utmost respect for him, his wisdom and leadership, and dedication to the burn patients.

Dr. Miller was an extraordinary person not only in his manner as a physician but in the loving way that he took care of his wonderful wife after Mrs. Miller had a stroke. In her wheelchair with all of the trimmings for her ailments Dr. and Mrs. Miller would dine at my first restaurant Charles Michel regularly. Mrs. Miller had to have her food ground but I would shape it so that it was a spot on entree of her pleasure. It was my pleasure to do it and Dr. Miller always appreciated it. I actually appreciated it more that they would allow me to do it. I will never forget them. May they Rest In Peace together now. Also they were fellow Steepmeadow Club residents during the good days there, long ago. Rest in Peace.

I worked with Dr. Miller in ICU and the burn unit. He was so good with his patient´s, caring and compassionate. I also was lucky to have him for an instructor and mentor while obtaining my MHCA at St. Ambrose. He was the director of the Masters in Healthcare program. The strange thing is I was thinking about him and wondering what ever happened to him, the day after he died. God bless him.

I was a nurse in Rehabilitation and would occasionally float to the Burn Unit. I was so fortunate as to work with both Jeri and Dr. Frank. I also was one of the nurses who cared for Jeri post brain injury. What a brilliant , respectful, compassionate,and knowledgeable Nurse, Doctor, and couple they were! And now they are reunited in their final home.

Frank and Jerry were a pair .He lovingly cared for her all that time after her stroke .He was a real human ,a skilled surgeon ,and my mentor and friend .He leaves behind his prodgeny ,to carry on .I hope that we will see a more complete eulogy . H.P.,F.E., and Jerry had great life stories . RIP Frank .
