Jeffrey H. Lange, 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Panama City Beach, FL on May 26, 2021. He was surrounded by his wife Lori, sister Linda and daughter Piper. Jeff was born in Moline, IL July 21, 1949 to Donald O. Lange and Glenna Mae Groom and grew up in Carbon Cliff, IL.
Jeff graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, IL, Class of 1967. He enlisted in the Marine Corp under the Buddy Program in 1968. While proudly serving in Vietnam he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1*, RVN Cross of Gallantry with Palm and Frame and Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device. In 1975, he was honorably discharged from the Marines with the rank of Corporal E-4. He retired to Panama City Beach after working as a Manager for Whirlpool Corporation in La Vergne, TN for 25 years. In PCB he was a property manager for Ershig Properties, Inc.
Jeff was an avid baseball fan, having played all throughout his life. Every summer he cheered on his Cubs and Braves. He also enjoyed woodworking and creating gifts for his granddaughters.
He was proceeded in death by both his parents Donald O. Lange and Glenna Mae Groom and his brother, Larry D. Lange. His family was everything to him, he is survived by his wife, Lori Reeves Lange, Panama City Beach, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Millen, Peoria, IL, brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Donna Lange, Brentwood, TN, sister-in-law, Carol Lange, Waukesha, WI, daughter and son-in-law, Piper and Chris Garwacki, step-daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Christopher Hoalt, 3 cherished granddaughters, Hazel and Hattie Garwacki and Bella Hoalt and 9 nieces and nephews that thought the world of him.

Fisher House of the Emerald Coast is located on Eglin Air Force Base in Northwest Florida and provides a "home away from home" so that our military families can be together during treatment for serious illness or physical/occupational therapy. The House is within steps of the Eglin Air Force Base Hospital and Veteran's Clinic.
