Marion "Lynn" Morgan, 78, of Silvis, passed from this life to her eternal home, Friday, November 12, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Bible Holiness Church, 2201 Colona Rd, East Moline, IL 61244. Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Bible Holiness Church or to Pregnancy Resources.
Lynn was born on April 13, 1943, in Peru, IL, the daughter of Nardo and Marion (Meyer) Novero. She married Arthur S Morgan on April 11, 1976, in Peru, IL. Her life's purpose was serving the Lord and others with a heart for children. She was a founding member of Bible Holiness Church in East Moline. Her ministries included Sunday school, Children's Church, and VBS with the highlight being her mission trip to Nigeria to teach children. She was a strong supporter of Right to Life and Pregnancy Resources. Lynn was the church pianist and loved singing. Her greatest love was the Lord, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Morgan, of Silvis, Terri (Ken) Weeks, of Texas; son Bob (Jill) Morgan, of Milan; stepdaughters, Linda (JB) Massey, of Arkansas, Vicky (Gary) Lovett, of Oklahoma, Debbie (Mike) Covington, of Oklahoma; stepson, Billy Paul (Vici-Beth) Morgan, of Oklahoma; daughters-in-law, Theresa Morgan, of Louisiana, and Polly Morgan, of Indiana; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brother, Bob (Fran) Novero, of Rock Island; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Novero, of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; stepsons, Mike, Tom, and Randy; and brother Bud.
