Priscilla "Penny" A. DeMoulin

November 19, 1942 - October 13, 2024

Priscilla "Penny" A. DeMoulin, 81, of Illinois City passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehab, East Moline.

Private inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan is assisting the family.

Penny was born on November 19, 1942, in Moline, Ill., a daughter of Harry and Fern (Fuller) Vershaw. She married Wilbert A. DeMoulin and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1997. Penny worked for Modern Woodmen for several years, before becoming a homemaker.

She was a member of Taylor Ridge United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish Penny's memory include her two sons, Ted DeMoulin and Terry (Becky) DeMoulin, both of Illinois City; grandsons, John, Logan and Brandon DeMoulin; and siblings, Pete Vershaw, Tom Vershaw, Ella Sanderson and Liz Paxton.

Penny was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brothers, Harry and Victor Vershaw.
