Myrtle Rice

Myrtle Rice Myrtle A. Rice, 93, died Nov. 26, 2003 in Tucumcari. She was born Dec. 17, 1909 in Peru, Indiana. She was a home maker and member of the Center Street United Methodist Church, Bethel Chapter 15, Order of the Eastern Star and of the United Methodist Women and of the Queen Astex Auxiliary Lady Firemen. She is preceded in death by her husband Alva J. Rice in 1989 and by a daughter Donna Ann Rice in 1952. Survivors include daughter Belinda Trujillo and husband Edward of Tucumcari; great grandson William Joseph Luera and wife Sabine and great great granddaughter Kristian; sister-in-law Pearl Rice. Services were Monday at Dunn Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Scott Seymour officiated. Burial followed in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
