June 25, 2000 - December 31, 2025
Cody Allen Vols, 25, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated at a later date.
Cody was born on June 25, 2000, in Rock Island, the son of Gregory and Christy (Hickenbottom) Vols. He worked as a security guard at Constellation Energy. Cody was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed going fishing and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Cody is survived by his parents, Gregory and Christy Vols; fiancé, Elizabeth Minnaert; daughter, Eden Vols; stepson, Jayce Morris; sisters, Courtney, Ashley, and Allison Vols; numerous extended family members from the Vols, Hickenbottom, and Becker families; along with many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Connie.
