He was the finest Designer ever. My mother (Alice Harpring) really enjoyed working with him on our home. They redesigned my room when I went away to college. It was fantastic. Rest in peace, Mr. Grilk.

Ernie taught the Sunday School for the college students from the church in the summer -- I was in that class and really enjoyed that time of sharing with him. I continued to enjoy sharing with him through out my years at St John's. We missed both Ernie and Gloria when they moved to AK and always enjoyed their visits!
