Gene loved horses, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his father, Robert McDonald, Sr., Davenport, IA; sons, Jason (Tracy) Springsteen and family, McCausland, IA, Dustin McDonald and family, Eldridge, IA; daughter, Amanda Olson and family, Davenport, IA; brother, Robert (Cathie) McDonald, Jr. and family, Blue Grass, IA; and sister, Lore (Donald) VanHoosier and family, Prophetstown, IL.
He was preceded in death by his Mom and Grandparents.

Bob and Lore, I was taken aback by the news. I miss my old street racing friend.
His stroke was devistating. I hope your ALL have great day.
