August 2, 1939-July 3, 2023

DEWITT-Funeral services for Janice C. Bradley, 83, of DeWitt, will be 11:00 am on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. A burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Monday from 10:00 am to service time at the funeral home.

Janice passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Fieldstone of DeWitt.

Janice Berg was born on August 2, 1939, in Davenport, the daughter of Raymond and Bernadine (Westerhoff) Berg. She married Allen Bradley at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Davenport on December 2, 1961. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2015. Janice worked at Davenport Bank and Trust for 3 years and continued to meet regularly with her co-workers long after she worked there.

Janice was a member of the Eldridge American Legion Auxiliary; she was also active in the P.T.A. and helping with Park View Schools.

Survivors include her children, Kelly (Todd) Heilig of Davenport, Iowa and Ricky (Lisa) Bradley of South Carolina, Chris (Bobbie) Bradley of Anamosa, IA; grandchildren, Josh, Alicia, Lauren, Aaron, Kyle, Renee, Ricky Jr., Hailey and U'ilani; great-grandchildren, Regan, Aiden, Alexa, Austin, Asher, Parker, Quinn, Aurora, Isla, Sofia, Tomas and Hudson. She is also survived by sisters; Margaret Berg Gillespie of Davenport, Carolyn Berg Ferguson of Bettendorf, and brother; Alvin Berg of Park View.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Allen, sisters, Betty Berg Stebens, and Marilyn Berg Daly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Eldridge fire Department.

She and I worked together at Davenport Bank.
Janice was a very wonderful lady and a great friend.

We lived a few houses away from Janice and Al in Park View. After my 3rd child was born Janice brought me food every day since my husband was out of town and my other 2 kids were in Dubuque with my Mom. I was so very grateful!! Rest in Peace Janice
