ANDALUSIA-Jason L. Bock, 42, of Andalusia, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, at the Runge Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, at 12 p.m. in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Jason was born December 10, 1979 in Davenport, IA, the loving son of Vickie and Chester Olson. On April 30, 2005 he was united in marriage to Melissa Harney in Davenport. He was currently employed at SSAB in Montpelier, IA.
Jason was a good father and enjoyed coaching and attending his children's sporting events. Jason loved to ride motorcycles and was involved with numerous motorcycle associations, events, and charitable rides, where he was the life of the party.
Those celebrating his life are his loving wife, Melissa Bock; beloved children, Halle and Colton Bock; grandmother, Shirley Durant; father, Chet Olson; siblings, Katrinna Mayes, Sherrie Olson, and Chester Olson, Jr.; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and "brother", Don Nord.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Victorea Olson; paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandfather.
Jason will always be remembered saying "just one more".
