CAMANCHE-Johnna "Johnnie" Drury, 59, of Camanche, passed away, Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House – Bettendorf.
Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Drury, David Drury, Clint Guidebeck, Payton Nicol, Richard Kooi, and Jim Neumann. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tammie Kooi, Danielle Guidebeck, Joan Drury, and the Clinton Genesis VNA staff. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Johnna Cee Thomas was born on May 30, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Shirley (Hoover) Thomas. She was a 1980 graduate of Camanche High School, and later received CNA training. She married Timothy Drury on July 18, 1981 in Clinton.
Johnnie was employed with Genesis VNA for the past 26 years as a home care scheduler. She also worked at McDonalds and Klines in her younger years.
Johnnie enjoyed traveling with her close group of friends, attending Iowa games, and volunteering with the Camanche MDA fundraiser. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for her delicious Scotcheroos.
Johnnie is survived by her husband: Tim of Camanche; her son: Tyler (Jeni) Drury of Bettendorf, her grandchildren: Emmett and Ella, her mother: Shirley Thomas of Camanche, her sister: Sabrina (Rick) Riley of Camanche; her mother-in-law: Helen Drury of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and father-in-law.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society or the Camanche Volunteer Fire Department.
