DAVENPORT-Mary F. Sieverding, age 79, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Davenport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be held in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mary was born on August 27, 1943 in Davenport to Fred and Frances (Glasgow) Reed. She graduated from Davenport West High School. On September 24, 1983 she was united in marriage to Richard Sieverding in Davenport. Mary was a huge NASCAR fan and visited many of the various tracks with her husband and family. She also enjoyed traveling and vacations with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Dick; children, Richard (Shelly) Schutters of Davenport, Randy (Rachel) Schutters of Reynolds, IL, and Chris (Audra) Sieverding of Davenport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, John Reed of Davenport; and one nephew.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister.
