Melvin "Mel" Elmer Puck, 89, passed away peacefully at his home in Blue Grass on August 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation for Mel will be held on August 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport, Iowa. A Funeral Service will follow on August 23, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Those left to honor Melvin's memory include his loving wife, Joanne; his daughters, Gail (Mitch) Marshall, Julie Ehrecke. Lori (Dave) Imming, and Jill Puck; his grandchildren, Brad Pickett, Randi (John) Rhine, Danielle (Dustin) Waters, Vaughn (Jordan) Ehrecke, Spencer (Sarah) Ripperger, Jordan (Justin) Parchert, Kylie (Tabari) Marshall, Madison (Dylan) Marshall, Carly (Kirby) Hady, and Kennedy Imming; his great-grandchildren, Olivia (Zach) Waters, Zane Waters, Cael Ehrecke, Piper Ehrecke, Reagan Parchert, Rylee Parchert, Huxson Ripperger, Weston Ripperger, Sloan Hady, and his newest great-granddaughter, who is due to be born in October; his brothers, Ralph (Pat) Puck; and Donald (Benita) Puck; and his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
