Merle "Lori" Loraine Boettcher

Merle "Lori" Loraine Boettcher, 86, passed away July 5, 2025, in Troy, Mo. Lori was born in Oquawka, Ill. to Rosemary Amelia Banta and William Sayles Green. She graduated from Aledo High School and AIC Business College before becoming a ballroom dance instructor. She married Gene George Boettcher and together, they raised two children on their family farm, Troy Gene Boettcher of Bennett, Iowa, and Tracy Jean Sirna of Winfield, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; and five siblings. Those that were fortunate enough to know Lori will forever miss her. Donations can be made to St. Jude's in her name.
