Pamela Lieselotte Rumler passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 6, 2023, at Genesis East in Davenport, Iowa.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Pamela Lieselotte Rumler 6-23-1959 - 5-6-2023, on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at West Lake Park located at 14910 110th Avenue, Davenport, IA 52804. We will be at the Lake View Shelter just up the hill from the swimming area. Use gate 1 to enter the park. Lunch will be served around 1:30 p.m. Family and friends; please bring your favorite memories, stories, and photos to share. Food and drink will be provided.
Pam was born on June 23, 1959, to George and Giesela Harvey in Wolfgang, Germany. Pam graduated from Moline High School in 1977 and then attended Black Hawk College. She went on to graduate from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in Special Education in 1993. The same year as she graduated, Pam went to work for the Davenport School system as a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing. Pam later retired and enjoyed picnics, walks, and shopping with her longtime partner Ed Valerius and spending time with her family.
Pam was preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Giesela Harvey, and her brother Ron Harvey.
She is survived by her longtime partner Ed Valarius, Brother George Harvey (Kathy Douglass), Sister Vicki Darrell Morgan, and many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members.
