WALCOTT-Phil Roberts, 73, of Walcott and Davenport, Iowa, passed away November 28, 2022 at the Davenport Lutheran Home. The family is extending an invitation to friends and family to join us for a celebration of Phil's life, which will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 12 – 3pm at the Starlite Ballroom at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, 2815 W. Locust St Davenport, Iowa. We will be sharing our favorite memories of a man who truly loved life, his family and his friendships and made such an impact in the QC community. All acquaintances who knew Phil from his various endeavors -- stock car racing announcer, volunteer firefighter, MVF board member, local journalism and news radio, etc. -- are encouraged to attend, as well as anybody with a good story to share of him. Plenty of parking will be available, lunch will be served, Phil's favorite songs will be played, and his life will be celebrated through pictures and words as we remind ourselves that as long as we remember him, a piece of him will always be with us.
