Stephen "Steve" F. Reimers

June 28, 1947 - February 15, 2021

Stephen "Steve" F. Reimers, 73 of Donahue, passed away on February 15, 2021 at his home. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Memorials may be left to the Donahue Volunteer Fire Department, or to the Veteran's Outreach Center. Online condolences may be expressed at www.Cunnick-collinsmortuary.com.

Steve was born on June 28, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa to Frederick and Beatrice (Cox) Reimers. Steve enlisted in the United States Army. Steve worked for Case New Holland as a press operator.

Steve enjoyed living in the country and being close to nature. He enjoyed weekend trips to Kalona, Iowa and other small towns, visiting their bakeries and wineries.

Survivors include, his brother Thomas Reimers, and his sister Sue Hufford, both of Oregon, and special friend Jenny Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents.

I was in Viet Nam with Steve. I just came across the letter he wrote when I got out of there. I good and honorable man.
