Kevin Rambo

KEVIN LLOYD RAMBO Kevin Lloyd Rambo sadly left us on September 28, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, with his loving family by his side. Kevin was born in Int'l Falls to Lloyd and Eileen (Chapman) Rambo on March 11, 1956. He resided with his family in Loman, MN until graduating from Indus High School, where he loved playing hockey, then moving to Int'l Falls. Kevin enjoyed working at Grays Amoco while still in high school then, several years later, loved driving the tow truck bringing his young daughter Laura on many calls. Kevin returned to school graduating from Ely with his AAS degree. He later worked for years at IBEW Local 160, then moving on to construction joining Local 1097 where he worked until retirement. He was a proud union member. In his younger years he was a proud member of the Jaycees and prouder to help construct and put the hat on "Smokey the Bear". Kevin was preceded in death by parents Lloyd and Eileen, uncles Gerney, Herman and Alvin Rambo, brothers-in-law Earl Stringer and Dick Frank. Kev loved life and his family, he is survived by his loving partner Debbie of 38 years, daughter Laura (Dustin) Lucca, stepchildren Crystal Callaghan, Michelle (Judd) Sturm and Mark Kenny, grandchildren Evan, Nathan, Hope, Ayla, Alyssa, Logan, Lexi, Camden, Asher and great-grandson Braxton, sisters Beverly Stringer, Gloria (Roger) Oettinger, Colleen Kotnik, Maureen (Denton) Hasbargen plus many nieces and nephews. As per Kevin's wishes no services will be conducted. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetary in Loman, MN at a later date. As for his other wish he left us with his hat on. Thank you to all his friends who knew and loved him! He was an amazing man with a heart of gold. God Bless.
