Ron Fasching Obituary

RAMONA
Ron Fasching passed away at his home in Ramona on December 5, 2020, at the age of 70. He had a history of heart problems. Ron was born in Beach, North Dakota on June 21, 1950 to Louis and Naomi Fasching. He was raised in San Diego. In his youth, he loved surfing and music. He served in the U S Army from 1970 to 1972 where he was stationed in Germany. In 1982 he moved to Ramona. On March 2, 1982, he married Christine Ward and became step-father to Kimberly Ward (Warnock).Ron and Christine had three children, Caleb, Naomi (Seney), and Hannah (Stevens). He was the loving grandfather to five grandchildren, Skylar and Dylan Warnock, Gabriel and Jacob Fasching and Noah Seney. He enjoyed his career as a builder, professional painter and all around handyman, he was a true craftsman in his field, every project a masterpiece, (including that mushroom tree on Hwy 78). Ron was quite the story teller, reminiscing about his Army days and so many humorous tales, always had us laughing. Ron is survived by his mother, Naomi, brother, Don Fasching (Sue Ellen), his sister, Rebecca Booher, and many nieces and nephews. Ron will be forever missed, always loved by his family and friends. We are so sorry to learn of Ron’s passing. We first met Ron and Christine in 1980, and were immediately impressed with their honesty and work ethic. Later they lived next door for many years, and we became close friends. Ron was very skilled and excelled in all kinds of construction and repair work. He always had a smile and a story to tell. Ron and Christine along with their children have been very special people in our lives, and we share many memories. He will be sadly missed.

Ron was my best friend's youngest brother when we were growing up. He was always a sweetheart and loved Rebecca very much. They were very close right up until Ron's passing.
