Lorin Berghouse Obituary

Ramona lost one of its finest citizens on December 16, 2011. Lorin was the only son born to John and Ruth Berghouse on September 28, 1942, in Santa Monica, CA.
Lorin was a graduate of the University of Washington, Seattle, and proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
For the past several years, Lorin has been a civil engineer in Ramona, L.A. Berghouse Engineering, and did soil compaction work. Lorin had many interests. He owned two airplanes and spent much of his time at the airport. He loved hanger flying. He also enjoyed buying and restoring guns. Lorin was into his music; he played the piano and dabbled in the guitar and flute. He also loved old movies and old vehicles, having three 1972 Chevy's.
Lorin requested that no services would be held and that his ashes would be scattered at sea.
Donations in his memory to your favorite military charity would be appreciated.
We will miss you Lorin, Love, Imogene Berghouse and daughters, Geneva Hayes and Sandra Parvic.

We will miss our neighbor! Lorin was always ready with a kind word and big smile. He loved his yard. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed.
