Richard Feiock Obituary

Richard Jay Feiock, age 75 of Glendive, Montana passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at his home in Glendive. A Memorial Service will be held in Roundup, Montana, at a later date. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Richard was born on January 7, 1950 in Mobridge, South Dakota to his parents August and Viola (Roemick) Feiock. As a young boy the family moved to Roundup, Montana where Richard was raised and educated graduating from Roundup High School with the class of 1969. Following high school, Richard was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Delores "Doris" Webby on June 26, 1970 in Sumner, Washington and to this union two daughters were born. They stayed in Sumner for about six months before returning to Roundup where Richard worked in the oilfield, they then moved to Glendive in 1977 where he continued his career in the oilfield until his retirement in 2020. Richard has resided in Glendive ever since.

Richard enjoyed riding dune buggies and motorcycles, especially in Yellowstone National Park. He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Richard loved sports and he loved watching his grandchildren participate in their sports. He was a big sports fan, he continued supporting the Red Devils and Bucs long after his grandchildren were done playing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris in 2021; one grandson, Whelan Louser; one sister, Sharon Duncan; two brothers, LeRoy Roemick and Robert Feiock.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennell (Robert) Wiseman and Nancy (Shannon) Rowsey of Glendive; five grandchildren, Mickayla (Jade) Kirkpatrick, Katilla (Cory) Louser, Ralissa (Marvell) Jackson, Tyra (Tyler) Clapp and Dawson Rowsey; nine great grandchildren; three sisters, Rose (Ronnie) Martin of Roundup, Rita (Dennis) Hannum of Dickinson, North Dakota and Janet (Kip) VanDyke of Roundup; three brothers, Dean (Jo) Feiock of Kentucky, Alan Feiock and Dale Feiock both of Roundup and numerous nieces and nephews.
