Duane Berke
RAPID CITY | Duane Berke, age 79, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Scotchman Living Center in Philip.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7 p.m. Monday, November 22, at Rush Funeral Home in Philip.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, at First Lutheran Church in Philip.
Interment will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Rapid City.
Arrangements are with Rush Funeral Home of Philip.

My sincere condolence for Duane´s family.
I worked with Duane as part of the team doing research of the severe storms using the T-28 Storm Penetrating Aircraft. We spent many summer weeks flying this unique aircraft to study severe storms, and Duane took great care of this aircraft, making sure it was ready to fly anytime we needed.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family!

We offer our condolences to Steve and all the Berke Family. Duane was a good friend and fellow aviator for many years. We'll miss him.
