Joseph (Joe)Edward Kent
Joseph Edward Kent, 85, of Riggens Idaho entered eternal rest February 7, 2022, McCall, Idaho. He was born and raised in the Bitterroot, son of Samuel Edward Kent and Mae Wolfinbarger on January 24 1937. He attended schools in the Bitterroot. He later joined the Army. Worked as a mill hand at the Conner Sawmill and also was a ranchhand in Woodside, MT. His hobby was working on TV's, radios, he could get along with all electronics. He also liked to fish and hunt.
He married Sharon Junke of Missoula on December 28, 1962. To this union were born 3 daughters Karen, Katherine and Laurie Ann. After years of living in Hamilton and his girls were raised they later moved to Riggins Idaho. Living there for 30+ years till his passing.
Joe is survived by his wife Sharron of McCall, Idaho. Daughters Karen and Katherine (Kathy), several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Sisters Sandy (Lee) Pierce of Evanston Wyoming. Patty (Tom) Nichols of Alberton, MT Carol Kent of Missoula MT. Step-brother Jackie Hanson of Missoula.
Joe was preceded in death by his daughter Laurie Ann, his father Ed and step-mother Jessie Kent and mother Mae Wolfinbarger and grandparents. Brothers; Gordon Wayne Kent, Eldon Kent, step-brother Lawrence Hanson, sisters; Pauline Bacon, Joy Dumontier, Sheila Phillips, Katherine Kent. His step-sisters Margaret and Donna Hanson. Nephews Mortie, John and Ricky Bacon.
His wish was to be cremated and entered into rest with his daughter Laurie Ann Kent at Riverview Cemetery.
June 17, 2022 There will be graveside services June 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Military Honors in Hamilton at Riverview Cemetery.
