Mr. Matthew Thomas "Mattman" Waite

Mr. Matthew "Mattman" Thomas Waite, 25, of Eolia, formerly of Louisiana, entered into his eternal resting place on June 27, at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 1, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Bill Maupin will officiate.
Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at the funeral home.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1991, in Louisiana, Missouri to John K. Waite and Tammy Shade Waite.
He is survived by his mother, Tammy Waite of Eolia and father, John K. Waite of Hannibal, two brothers, John S. Waite of Hannibal and Brandon Waite of Eolia, two sisters, Amy Shade of Louisiana and Kayla Alexander of Louisiana, his paternal grandparents, Steve and Kathy Waite of Louisiana and Karen Waite of Louisiana, his maternal grandparents, Bill and Sandra J. Shade of Louisiana and his paternal great-grandmother, Eileen Waite of Louisiana and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,and friends.
He was preceded in death by a step brother, Kenneth Lamberson.
He had attended high school in Louisiana.
He had played football, enjoyed many things outdoors, hunting, fishing, boating, and his biggest hobby was building and driving derby cars. He enjoyed helping others and always left you with a smile.
Honorary pallbearers will be John K. Waite, Jim Shade, T.J. Suter, Jeremy Power, Levi Alexander and Michael Shade. Active pallbearers will be John Waite, Brandon Waite, Gary McDaniel, Chris Rule, Jacob Stoops and Shawn Rue.
