WANDA ONITA GARNETT

1926 - 2019

Memorial Services for Wanda Onita Garnett, 92, of Laddonia, will be held at noon Friday, June 28, 2019, at Laddonia Christian Church with the Reverend Dale Roberts and Finley Price officiating. Burial will be in Laddonia Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday, June 28, at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garnett died at 7:35 a.m. Monday, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico. She was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Audrain County, the daughter of Spencer T. and Mary Ethel Allen Davidson.
She married Butler "Bud" Edward Garnett in Olathe, Kan., Jan. 24, 1946, and he died earlier on June 2, 2014. Survivors include: three sons, Wayne (Terry) Sims of Laddonia, Greg (Amy) Garnett of Kansas City and Gary (Becky) Garnett of Laddonia; two daughters, Marilyn (Dennis) Grandcolas of Carrollton, Texas, and Diane (Craig) Harlen of Huntsville; one brother, Jim Davidson of Columbia; nine grandchildren, Scott Sims, Eric Littrell, Aaron Garnett, Michael Garnett, Darron Rodgers, Dustin Rodgers, Dylan Rucker, LeAnn Block, and Daniel Garnett; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Roy, Calap, Robert, Marvin, Glen, Johnny, and Raymond Davidson; three sisters, Amanda Davidson, Flodell Garnett, and Jeannie Stoneberger; and one great grandchild, Jacob Rodgers.
Mrs. Garnett was a lifetime area resident and member of the Laddonia Christian Church. She was a member of the American Legion Post 510 Auxilliary. She was a homemaker, an avid card player, and collected dolls and bells.
