To the Aughtry Family: Please accept condolences from the Perry Landis Family. The game of golf in Berks County has truly lost an Icon and a Legend. A black man with a touch of class unequaled on and off the golf course. Aaron was TRUELY a mentor to me and my competitive amateur golf career. If I was asked who has had the greatest influence on my golf game, I would say my Father and Aaron Aughtry. With regard to his work life at Dana-Parish, Aaron always appreciated his job and the opportunity that Dana gave him after moving from North Carolina. Thank you Aaron for your Mentorship and influence in my Life. Rest in Peace. Perry

To Olin and the entire Aughtry Family our deepest sympathy goes out to you during this most difficult time. Even though Debbie and I had moved to Florida the special memories we both had of our time with Aaron will never be forgotten. He was without a doubt one of the nicest people to ever enter into our lives and could always make us smile. My times spent with him in Thomasville on his golf trips was a very special part of my life and to see how proud he was of his hometown was truly special. Please reflect on all of the positive and fun times that Aaron shared with all of us as it shall help in the grieving process. We will keep Aaron and the entire Aughtry Family in our thoughts and prayers as we say goodbye to this remarkable man. God Bless You Aaron!

To all the family members, may I please express my sincerest condolences In your loss of Aaron.
From our days at Dana to fun times golfing, the times he would call to ask how far it was to a Casino, to teaching him how to ski, we would always have a laugh. Aaron was a true friend of 40 years, a great guy who will never be forgotten.
A tremendous Human Being.
Miss you partner !
