Al was married to Blair P. (Wouters) Lehman. Al and Blair celebrated 17 years of marriage.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Paul Lehman and Dorothy (Stott) Lehman.
Al served in the Army from July 31, 1964 until July 29, 1967 in the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles during the Vietnam War. For acts of valor under fire, Al received the Bronze Star, the Soldiers Medal For Heroism, and the Purple Heart.
Al is survived by four children, Alfred G. "AJ" Lehman, IV, and his fiancee, Maria McGraw of Chicago, Roger D. Lehman, and wife Diane E. (Thomas) of Mohnton, John F. Lehman of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Melanie B. Lehman of Blandon.
There are five grandchildren, Sydney & Matthew Lehman, and Evan, Owen, and Ryan Lehman.
A memorial service will be Wednesday August 8th at 1 PM in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple with Chaplain Michaelene Ross officiating. Family and friends may call Wednesday one hour prior to services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amvets.org, 614 South St., Ephrata, PA 17522.
