Andrew Kurtyka Obituary

Andrew William Kurtyka, 32, of Hamburg, passed away May 8, 2022 at his home. Born August 28, 1989 in West Reading, PA, he was the son of John T. Kurtyka of Reading and the late Karen Dufft. Andrew attended Wilson High School. He liked writing music and loved to go for walks. He was a very kind hearted person. He is survived by his father and step mother; John and Christine M. Kurtyka of Reading; a sister Leah L. Kurtyka of Reading, paternal grandmother, Barbara Kurtyka of Laureldale and Maternal grandmother Lucille Dufft of Reading. He was preceded in death by his mother Karen Dufft. A viewing will be held from 9:30- 11am at the Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Andrew was the sweetest little boy and a very kind hearted man. We are so saddened that he was taken from us so young. Thoughts and prayers for John, Chrissy and Leah. May you have strength during this very difficult time. We are here for you!
