Angie Pritchard Obituary

Angie Pritchard, 96, Alsace Township, formerly of Utica, N.Y., died Oct. 13, 2008, in Reading Hospital, where she was a patient since Oct. 7.

She was the widow of John Pritchard.

Born in Utica, she was a daughter of the late John and Filomena (Snizner) Wolney.

She had been employed in Utica as a home-care provider until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Patrick and St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, West Utica.

She is survived by three sons: John Pritchard, and wife, Kathleen; Richard Pritchard, and wife, Drinda; and David Pritchard, and wife, Marsha, all of New York; and three daughters: Gwendolyn, widow of Richard Marko, Middleville, N.Y.; Vanessa Pritchard, Thousand Islands, N.Y.; and Anne, wife of John Walker, Alsace Township.

There are also 23 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Rahmanian, for the compassionate care he gave to their mother, and also to her granddaughters, Lee Conard and Angie Walker, for their help the past 10 years in caring for their grandmother. They also wish to thank her daughter, Vanessa, for being there for Angie in her final days and to daughter, Anne, for being her faithful caregiver for many years.

A Prayer Service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Milkins Funeral Home Inc., 4914 Kutztown Road, Temple. Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Utica. The family will receive friends today 1 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Please visit the guest book at www.milkinsfuneralhome.com.
